Iowa State Fair 2023 - Des Moines Radio Group

From August 10-20, the Des Moines Radio Group hosted the KidFind Headquarters, presented by Goodwill of Central Iowa, at the Iowa State Fair. Local talent participated in various events over the 11 days, including judging the Mr. Legs Contest, hosting an ’80s Hair Contest and an Air Guitar Contest before the Hairball shows, hosting SkyGlider Speed Dating, hosting and participating in the Cow Chip Throwing Contest, and more. At KidFind Headquarters, Fair attendants got free wristbands to keep their kids safe, chatted with their favorite personalities from the radio stations, got temporary tattoos, and enjoyed various family-friendly activities.
